During periods of illness, isolation caused by stigma, discrimination, or bullying, our animal friends provide unwavering love, comfort, and a reason to get up each day. They listen without judgment, ease loneliness, and offer emotional support that can be vital to mental and physical wellbeing.

At PLWHA WA, we celebrate the wonderful role pets play in our community. We strongly encourage adopt, don’t shop — giving a loving home to an animal in need — and committing to care for them for their entire lives.
